Tampa Bay Regional History Museum Opens To Rave Reviews
Banners hang from the lamp posts along South Franklin Avenue in downtown Tampa to herald the Grand Opening of the bay area's first and only regional history museum.
The Tampa Bay History Center's prime location, adjacent to the Tampa Convention Center along the Hillsborough River, places it on the very edge of the city's Garrison Seaport Channel development.

The Tampa Bay History Center's Preview Center is located at 225 South Franklin Street, Tampa, Florida 33602 Phone: (813) 228-0097 When final construction is completed on the Tampa Bay History Center's permanent home, the facility will house an array of interactive exhibits and programs on regional history, archaeology and multicultural heritage, and will work to promote understanding of the bay area's history through the collection, preservation, research and exhibition of rare artifacts and memorabilia.
